  Verfahren zur Darstellung eines     Azophtaleinfarbstoifes.       Gegenstand dieser Erfindung ist     ein    Ver  fahren zur Darstellung eines     Azophtalein'-          farbstoffes    von nachstehender Formel:

    welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass mau  den     Monoazofarbstoff    aus     Amido-p-kresol-          sulfosäure    und     Resorcin    mit     Diäthylamiclo-          m-oxybenzoylbenzoesäure    im Verhältnis glei  cher Moleküle kondensiert.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>    32,4 Teile des Farbstoffes aus     Amido-p-          kresol-sulfosäure    und     Resorein    werden mit  31,4     Teilen'        Diäthylamido    - m -     oxybenzoy        1-          benzoesäure    vermischt und eingetragen in  300 Teile konzentrierte Schwefelsäure. Nach       24-stündigem    Rühren bei 80   giesst man in    Wasser; die     Farbstoffsäure    fällt     vollständig     aus.

   Sie bildet getrocknet ein bronzierendes  Pulver; das in Wasser auf Zusatz von     Alka-          lien    blauviolett, in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure rotbraun löslich ist. Die     nachchromier-          ten    oder     nachgekupferten    Färbungen auf  Wolle und Seide des nach bekannten Verfah  ren in das     Alkalisalz    übergeführten Farb  stoffes sind blau und besitzen     ;gute        Echthcits-          .eigenschaften.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Azo- pUtaleinfarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Monoazofarbstoff aus o-Amido- p-kresolsulfosäure und Resorcin mit Diäthyl- amido-m-oxybenzoylbenzoesäure kondensiert. Der Farbstoff ist ein dunkles Pulver, das sich in Wasser blauviolett, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure rotbraun löst. Die nach- chromierte oder nachgekupferte Färbung ist blau.
