Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines metallhaltigen Farbstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen metallhaltigen Farbstoff erhält, wenn man den Farbstoff aus diazotiertem 4-Nitro- 2-amino-l-phenol und Resorcin mit einem metallhaltigen Produkt, das durch Einwir kung von hydroxylgruppenhaltigen orga nischen Verbindungen auf Eisen-, Alu minium- und Kupfersalze in Gegenwart von Alkalien erhalten wird, behandelt.
Die entstandene Metallverbindung stellt getrocknet ein dunkelbraunes Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser schwer mit brauner, in Na tronlauge mit gelbbrauner und in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit braunstichig gel ber Farbe löst. In organischen Lösungsmit teln ist. es leicht löslich und ergibt aus einer Lösung in handelsüblichem Zaponlack auf Aluminiumfolie braune, kräftige Überzüge von sehr guter Lichtechtheit.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 5,48 Teile des Farbstoffes aus diazotier- tem 4-Nitro-2-amino-l-phenol und Resorcin werden in 400 Teilen Wasser und 10 Teilen Natronlauge von 36 B6 gelöst und kochend mit einer Glycerin und überschüssige Na tronlauge enthaltenden Lösung von 1 Teil Ferrichlorid, 1,9 Teilen Aluminiumsulfat und 1 Teil kristallisiertem Kupfersulfat in 50 Teilen Wasser versetzt. Nach dreistündigem Kochen wird kalt gerührt, hierauf mit Essig säure schwach sauer gestellt, filtriert, mit Wasser neutral gewaschen und der Rück stand bei 50-60 getrocknet.
Ein gleiches Endprodukt wird erhalten, wenn statt Glycerin andere hydroxylgrup- penhaltige organische Verbindungen, wie Glykol, Tannin, Gallussäure, Zuckerarten, Kohlenhydrate, verwendet werden.
Process for the production of a metal-containing dye. It has been found that a new metal-containing dye is obtained if the dye is made from diazotized 4-nitro-2-amino-1-phenol and resorcinol with a metal-containing product that is produced by the action of hydroxyl-containing organic compounds on iron, aluminum minium and copper salts is obtained in the presence of alkalis, treated.
The resulting metal compound, when dried, is a dark brown powder that dissolves with difficulty in water with a brown color, in sodium hydroxide solution with a yellow-brown color and in concentrated sulfuric acid with a brownish yellow color. In organic solvents is. it is easily soluble and, from a solution in commercially available zapon varnish on aluminum foil, results in strong, brown coatings of very good lightfastness.
<I> Example: </I> 5.48 parts of the dye from diazotized 4-nitro-2-amino-1-phenol and resorcinol are dissolved in 400 parts of water and 10 parts of sodium hydroxide solution of 36 B6 and boiled with a glycerine and excess sodium hydroxide solution containing 1 part of ferric chloride, 1.9 parts of aluminum sulfate and 1 part of crystallized copper sulfate in 50 parts of water. After three hours of boiling, the mixture is stirred cold, then made slightly acidic with acetic acid, filtered, washed neutral with water and the residue was dried at 50-60.
The same end product is obtained if, instead of glycerine, other organic compounds containing hydroxyl groups, such as glycol, tannin, gallic acid, sugars, carbohydrates, are used.
