Description

  

  Einrichtung zur Beschleunigung des     Glühvorganges    in     Drahtglühöfen     mit     11Iantelheizung.       Erfahrungsgemäss kann der Glühvorgang  in     Drahtglühöfen    über ein bestimmtes     Mass          hinaus    auch durch grössere Wärmezufuhr  nicht verkürzt werden, da der Wärmeüber  gang von Draht zu Draht in den überein  ander und ineinander liegenden Drahtringen  ein sehr schlechter ist.

   Eine Wärmezufuhr,  die grösser ist als die     Wärme-Ableitungs-          fähigkeit,    führt deshalb unbedingt zu einer  sehr starken Temperatursteigerung in den  äussersten     DralAlagen,    ohne dass dadurch der       Glühprozess    selbst wesentlich beschleunigt  wird.  



  Nach der     Erfindung    soll dieser Tempera  tutausgleich bei     Drahtglühöfen    mit Mantel  heizung, das heisst bei solchen     Drahtglüh-          öfen,    bei denen die Wärme zwischen der  Ofenwandung und dem Aussenumfang der  Drahtringe     zugeführt    wird, dadurch be  schleunigt werden,     d.ass    zwischen die Draht  ringe in bestimmten Abständen     Voll-Blech-          seheiben    aus einem gut wärmeleitenden Ma  terial, zum Beispiel Kupfer, eingelegt wer  den, die den Transport der Wärme von aussen  nach innen besorgen.

      In der Zeichnung ist als Ausführungs  beispiel ein elektrisch geheizter     Drahtglüh-          ofen    im Längsschnitt dargestellt, bei     denn     sich der zu glühende Draht a in einem be  sonderen, mit indifferentem Gas gefüllten  Glühtopf g befindet. Der Glühtopf besitzt  einen Eisenmantel     ua,    während der Boden b  und der Deckel d aus Kupfer bestehen. Die  Heizung erfolgt durch Widerstände h, die  den Mantel m des Topfes g umgeben und  an der Innenfläche des gemauerten Ofens o  angeordnet sind.

   In etwa gleichmässigem  Vertikalabstand sind im Innern des     Glüh-          topfes        g    zwischen den Drahtringen a Kup  ferscheiben k eingelegt, die. erfindungsgemäss  zum Transport der Wärme von aussen nach  innen dienen. Durch den Deckel d führen  zwei Rohre e, f, durch die der Glühtopf  mit indifferentem Gas zur Verhinderung der  Oxydation des Drahtes gefüllt werden kann.  



  Die Erfindung ist nicht auf die Ver  wendung von Glühtöpfen beschränkt, viel  mehr können die     Wärmeleitscheiben    auch  zwischen Drahtringen angeordnet werden,  die unmittelbar im Ofenraum liegen, ins-      besondere wenn der Ofen elektrisch geheizt  ist.

UNTERANSPRUCH: Einrichtung nach Patentanspruch, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass bei Verwendung eines Glühtopfes Boden und Deckel, desselben ebenfalls .aus gut wärmeleitendem -Metall bestehen.
