Description
Verfahren zur Darstellung eines Entwieklerfarbstoifes. Es wurde gefunden, dass ein wertvoller Entwicklerfarbstoff erhalten wird, wenn man tetrazotiertes Benzidin, Salizylsäure und 3' Amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-l-phenyl-3-methyl- 5-pyrazolon in molekularen Mengen aufein ander einwirken lässt, wobei man die Tetrazo- verbindung sowohl zuerst mit der Salizyl- säure wie mit dem Pyrazolonderivat kup peln kann.
Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein ziegelrotes Pulver, das sich in Wasser mit gelborangen, in konzentrierter Schwefelsäure mit rotvio letter Farbe löst. Er färbt ungeheizte Baum wolle in gelborangen Tönen, welche durch Diazotieren auf der Faser und nachfolgende Entwicklung mit ss-Naphtol in lebhaftes Rot orange von guter Waschechtheit übergehen.
<I>Beispiel 1:</I> Die Tetrazolösuni; aus 18,4 Teilen Benzi- din wird mit der sodaalkalischen Lösung von 14,5 Teilen Salizylsäure zum Zwischenpro dukt vereinigt und dasselbe mit der schwach alkalischen Lösung des Dinatriumsalzes von 28,3 Teilen 3'-Amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfp-l- plienyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon weiter gekup pelt. Die Kombination ist nach wenigen Stunden beendigt. Der Farbstoff wird als dann kochend ausgesalzen.
Beispiel <I>2:</I> Zu der Tetrazolösung aus 18,4 Teilen ssenzidin lässt man bei 0-5 C innerhalb etwa 15 Minuten unter gutem Rühren die neutrale Lösung des Dinatriumsalzes von 28,3 Teilen 3'-Amino-4'-methyl-5'-sulfo-l- phenyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolon zufliessen. Das Zwischenprodukt scheidet sich als bräunlich oranger Niederschlag aus.
Sobald sich kein unverändertes Tetrazodiphenyl mehr nachwei sen lässt, setzt man die Lösung von 14,5 Tei len Salizylsäure und 15 Teilen Natron 1.00 zu und lässt bei 0-5 C weiterrühren. Nach wenigen Stunden ist die Kombination be endigt. Das überschüssige Natron wird als dann mit Salzsäure neutralisiert und der Farbstoff kochend ausgesalzen.

The new dye forms a brick-red powder that dissolves in water with yellow-orange color, in concentrated sulfuric acid with red-violet color. It dyes unheated cotton in yellow-orange tones, which change into a vivid red-orange of good washfastness through diazotization on the fiber and subsequent development with ss-naphtol.
<I> Example 1: </I> The Tetrazolösuni; from 18.4 parts of benzidine is combined with the soda-alkaline solution of 14.5 parts of salicylic acid to the intermediate product and the same with the weakly alkaline solution of the disodium salt of 28.3 parts of 3'-amino-4'-methyl-5'- sulfp-l-plienyl-3-methyl-5-pyrazolone further coupled. The combination ends after a few hours. The dye is then salted out when boiling.
