Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen     Farbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen  Farbstoff erhält, wenn man     2,5-Dianilido-          benzochinon    mit einer Lösung von Chlor in       Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend der Zusam  mensetzung     SCI"    und zwar im Verhältnis  von 1     Mol.        2,5-Dianilidobenzochinon    zu 1       Mo1.        SCI"    bei höherer Temperatur behandelt.  Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein schwärzliches  Pulver, das sich in konzentrierter Schwefel  säure mit rotvioletter Farbe löst und Wolle  aus der     Küpe    olive färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  5,8 Teile     2,5-Dianilidobenzochinon    wer  den in etwa der 20fachen Menge Nitrobenzol  suspendiert und dann unter Kühlung bei  etwa 5-10   mit 2,8 Teilen einer Lösung  von Chlor in     Schwefeldichlorid,    entsprechend  der Zusammensetzung     SCl3,    versetzt. Hier  auf wird auf<B>100'</B> erhitzt und das Gemisch  einige Zeit bei dieser Temperatur belassen.    Der neue Farbstoff wird sodann kalt fil  triert, mit Alkohol nachgewaschen und ge  trocknet.     Die    Reaktion kann auch bei Gegen  wart von säurebindenden Mitteln, wie Kreide.,       Mg0    oder     tiergleichen    durchgeführt werden.
