Description

Elastischer, wasserdichter Belag.

Elastic, waterproof covering. The invention relates to an elastic shear, waterproof covering, which is suitable for Ter races, roofs, vaults, bridges, cellars, etc. is advantageous.

According to the invention, the elastic cal, waterproof covering consists of a layer of waterproof, elastic, adhesive material and at least one fine-meshed wire mesh embedded in the layer.

The drawing illustrates an exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention through FIG. 1 in plan and through FIG. 2 in cross section.

1 denotes' the layer of elastic, waterproof, adhesive material, e.g. B. tar or asphalt or with resin, certain oils or other glue interspersed mass, and 2 the wire mesh embedded in the tile layer with a mesh size of at most 3 mm, which is able to elastically absorb any tensile stresses. The covering can be sold in ready-to-use panels or rolls, or it can be put on the spot.

It is produced, for example, by applying a layer of adhesive material about 1 cm thick to one side of the wire mesh, then turning the whole thing over and applying an equal layer of adhesive material to the other side of the wire mesh. But it can also be made significantly thinner and, for example, with a thickness of only 5 mm, it withstands pressure of at least 15 atmospheres.

A plurality of wire meshes can also be embedded in the adhesive layer.
