Abstract
Le dispositif de coulée continue entre cylindres comprend deux cylindres (1, 2) contra-rotatifs d'axes parallèles définissant entre eux un espace de coulée (5), et un capotage (4) placé au dessus de l'espace de coulé
et comportant deux parois longitudinales (41) qui s'étendent respectivement le long de la surface de chaque cylindre. Chaque paroi (41) comporte deux conduits (45, 46) d'amenée de gaz, comportant des orifices débouchants vers les dites surfaces, parallèles entre eux et adjacents à la surface du cylindre, séparés par des moyens d'étanchéité par perte de charge (50, 64), de manière que le flux de gaz apporté par le conduit (45) se trouvant en amont, par rapport au sens de rotation du cylindre, soit dirigé exclusivement vers l'extérieur du capotage, le flux amené par le conduit (46), situé plus en aval, étant dirigé vers l'espace de coulée.
Application notamment à la coulée continue entre cylindres de bandes minces en acier.
et comportant deux parois longitudinales (41) qui s'étendent respectivement le long de la surface de chaque cylindre. Chaque paroi (41) comporte deux conduits (45, 46) d'amenée de gaz, comportant des orifices débouchants vers les dites surfaces, parallèles entre eux et adjacents à la surface du cylindre, séparés par des moyens d'étanchéité par perte de charge (50, 64), de manière que le flux de gaz apporté par le conduit (45) se trouvant en amont, par rapport au sens de rotation du cylindre, soit dirigé exclusivement vers l'extérieur du capotage, le flux amené par le conduit (46), situé plus en aval, étant dirigé vers l'espace de coulée.
Application notamment à la coulée continue entre cylindres de bandes minces en acier.
