Abstract

The said industrial design consists of the shape, configuration and ornamentation of a vacuum appliance with wall mount having a housing portion and a rear bracket-like member;the rear bracket-like member has generally parallel front and rear surfaces and an outer surface which extends generally at right angles between the front and rear surfaces, the outer surface having beveled corners; the rear bracket-like member has a lower vertical section which merges into a forwardly angled section which in turn merges into an upper vertical section having angled top corners; the rear bracket-like member has a generally rectangular open area in front elevation view which extends from the upper section, through the angled section, and into the lower section; the rear bracket-like member has a flat forwardly extending bottom ledge-like portion;the housing portion has side walls, a bottom wall, a downward and forwards curved top wall, and a front wall which curves downwards and slightly inwards to the bottom wall; a raised area with beveled upper and lower corners extends along the side walls and across the front of the housing portion, separating the top wall from the front wall; the housing portion has beveled corners between the side walls and the top wall and between the side walls and the front wall; the portion of the raised area along the left side wall merges into an outwardly projecting element having a deep recessed open area with a curved inner surface in plan view;the housing portion has a forwardly projecting area having an upper section and a lower section; the lower section has a generally semi-circular lower end in front elevation view and a sloped front surface; the lower section has a central generally cylindrical projection having a flat front surface; the upper section of the forwardly projecting area has a generally flat front surface and rounded top corners; the upper section has slightly upwardly converging side surfaces that merge through the rounded top corners into a flat top surface having a generally oblong opening therein; the upper section has an open cylindricalmember which extends forwards from the front surface thereof adjacent a generally rectangular area having a right side edge which curves inwards around the left side of the open cylindrical member;the side walls of the housing portion taper slightly inwards below the raised area; each side wall has a generally identical shallow and wide recessed area with an outwardly curved upper edge, a flat inner surface, and side edges with flare gradually outwards from top to bottom;the curved top wall has a deep recessed area therein with generally parallel and flat inside surfaces and a forwardly and upwards curved bottom surface having a series of parallel generally identical slots therein which extend most of the width of the bottom surface; a finned member extends across the top of the deep recessed area and has generally identical spaced-apart fin-like elements having curved upper edges; the ends of the finned member merge into domed generally semi-circular in plan view elements which are situated on the top wall adjacent the edges of the deep recessed area; a flat band-like member extends outwards from the left side domed element and merges into a generally U-shaped member situated adjacent the upper left side wall.
