Abstract

Device for the electrolytic treatment of electrically conducting structures electrically insulated from each other on surfaces of strip-like material (1) comprises an arrangement consisting of contact electrodes (6) for the material and an electrolysis region in which counter electrodes (4) and the material are in contact with the treatment liquid. At least one of the contact electrodes is arranged outside of the electrolysis region and is not in contact with the treatment liquid. The contact electrode and the electrolysis region are arranged at a distance from each other so that small electrically conducting structures can be electrolytically treated. An independent claim is also included for a process for the electrolytic treatment of electrically conducting structures electrically insulated from each other on surfaces of strip-like material using the above device.
