Abstract

"MéTODO PARA AUMENTAR A EFICáCIA DE UM BIOCIDA, COMPOSIçãO BIOCIDA E MéTODO PARA CONTROLAR O CRESCIMENTO DE MICROORGANISMOS EM UM SUBSTRATO, EM UM SISTEMA AQUOSO, EM POLPA OU PAPEL". No método para aumentar a eficácia de um biocida, pelo menos um biocida e pelo menos uma dietanolamida são aplicados em um substrato ou sistema aquoso sujeito ao crescimento de microorganismos. A dietanolamida é aplicada em uma quantidade eficaz para aumentar a atividade biocida do biocida. Composições biocidas são descritas, nas quais o biocida e a dietanolamida estão presentes em uma quantidade combinada eficaz para controlar o crescimento de pelo menos um microorganismo. Métodos para controlar o crescimento de microorganismos em vários substratos e em vários sistemas aquosos são também descritos.
