Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA TRATAMENTO DE ACETONITRILA BRUTA CONTENDO ACRILONITRILA COMO UMA IMPUREZA E PROCESSO PARA A FABRICAçãO DE ACETONITRILA GRAU HPLC". O método da presente invenção compreende alimentar acetonitrila bruta contendo acrilonitrila como uma impureza e água para dentro da porção superior de uma coluna de destilação, destilar a acetonitrila bruta na presença da água por um tempo suficiente para permitir substancialmente toda a impureza de acrilonitrila ser vaporizada na presença da água, remover substancialmente toda a acrilonitrila em uma corrente superior saindo da coluna de destilação e recuperar a acetonitrila bruta substancialmente livre de impureza de acrilonitrila da porção inferior da coluna de destilação. Em particular, o método pode ser utilizado para produzir acetonitrila grau HPLC (supressão de UV < 190).
