Abstract
Invention Patent: <B> "NEUROIMUNE ENDOCRINE REGULATION DEVICE AND TREATMENT" <D>. This invention consists of a method and device specially designed to treat neuroimmune endocrine dysfunction by stimulating pigmented neurons in the orbital areas of the cerebral cortex with filtered light, to achieve a modulation of the adrenal pituitary hypothalamic axis and / or the brain bone marrow axis ( or some other axis). The treatment method consists of placing the tips of the lens holders of the device consecutively in three or more contiguous locations on each orbital ceiling for 2 to 4 minutes per location, twice a week, for two months and for additional periods as required. Patients are treated in a reclining (or sitting) position with their eyes closed. No light is sent through the eyes. This treatment is used for essential hypertension, chronic pharyngitis, rheumatic arthritis, allergies (especially respiratory), immunodeficiency arising from any cause, cancer, systemic lupus erythematosus, eczema, psoriasis, thyroid disease, viral syndromes and other pathologies involving neuroimmune endocrine dysfunction . The device is equipped with (at least) two lens carriers, each with a filter transmitting wavelengths peaking at 350-400 nm and 750-800 nm (or with other appropriate specifications), quartz glass, biconvex lens of 50 diopters (minimum) and low-power medical bulb or other light source. In the portable model, the carriers are mounted on a rectangular plastic cover containing a printed circuit, pivot to position the carriers, an output regulator with a digital voltage / mA screen. The input is 6V DC (battery model), 220V DC (main model) and 0.5-3V DC output (variable); 50-300 mA. The hospital model is equipped with computerized circuits including craniometric, densitometric, and other programmable functions.
