Abstract

"PROCESSO PARA CALCINAçãO ELéTRICA DE MATERIAL CARBONáCEO E FORNO DE CALCINAçãO ELéTRICA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo e um forno para calcinação elétrica de material carbonáceo para a produção de grafita ou material de teor de grafita. Os materiais carbonáceos ao topo de um forno verticalmente disposto que tem um corte transversal cilíndrico. O forno é equipado com um eletrodo de topo e um eletrodo de fundo e tem meios para fornecer corrente elétrica aos eletrodos para aquecer o material carbonáceos. O material carbonáceo calcinado é descarregado no fundo do forno em um fluxo que contém material calcinado no centro do forno e um fluxo que contém material calcinado perto da periferia do forno.
