Abstract

"COMPOSIçõES POLIMéRICAS HETEROMORFAS, PROCESSO PARA SUA OBTENçãO E SEUS USOS". A presente invenção refere-se a composições poliméricas heteromorfas identificadas por compreenderem: (a) um interpolímero de etileno/<244>-olefina homogêneo linear ou substancialmente liner: e (b) uma ramificação apensas à cadeia principal, a qual ramificação compreende um homopolímero de etileno ou um interpolímero de etileno/<244>-olefina tendo uma densidade que é de pelo menos 0,004 g/cm³ maior que aquela da cadeia principal. Pelo menos um dentre o polímero de cadeia principal ou o polímero de ramificação pode ser opcionalmente funcionalizado para promover adesão a superfícies polares. As composições poliméricas heteromorfas da invenção exibem temperatura de serviço superior melhorada. Também é divulgado um processo para preparar as composições poliméricas heteromorfas da inveção.
