uma composição para produzir uma fibra de vidro, incluindo os seguintes componentes com quantidades de porcentagem correspondentes em peso: sio2: 57,4-60,9%; al2o3: maior do que 17% e menor do que ou igual a 19,8%; mgo: maior do que 9% e menor do que ou igual a 12,8%; cao: 6,4-11,8%; sro: 0-1,6%; na2o+k2o: 0,1-1,1%; fe2o3: 0,05-1%; tio2: menor do que 0,8%; e sio2+al2o3: menor do que ou igual a 79,4%. a porcentagem em peso total dos componentes acima na composição é maior do que 99%. a razão de porcentagem em peso de al2o3+mgo para sio2 está entre 0,43 e 0,56, e a razão de porcentagem em peso de cao+mgo para sio2+al2o3 é maior do que 0,205. a composição pode aumentar significativamente o módulo de vidro, reduzir eficazmente a taxa de cristalização do vidro, assegurar uma faixa de temperatura desejável (¿t) para formação de fibras e intensificar o refinamento de vidro fundido, deste modo tornando-o particularmente adequado para produção de fibra de vidro de elevado desempenho com fornos com revestimento refratário.
