resumo patente de invenção: "processo para recuperar ácidos monocarboxílicos alifáticos a partir de resíduos de destilação". a presente invenção refere-se a um processo para recuperar ácidos monocarboxílicos alifáticos tendo de 4 a 11 átomos de carbono a partir do resíduo de destilação obtido na oxidação do aldeído correspondente por meio de oxigênio ou misturas de gás contendo oxigênio, na presença de carboxilatos de metal alcalino ou carboxilatos de metal alcalinoterroso para formar o ácido monocarboxílico correspondente e subsequente destilação, em que o resíduo da destilação é reagido com um ácido aquoso em um tubo reator.
