Abstract

"MéTODO PARA A RECUPERAçãO DE OURO". A presente invenção se refere a um método para a recuperação de ouro em conexão com a produção hidrometalúrgica de cobre a partir de um resíduo ou produto intermediário contendo enxofre e ferro gerados na lixiviação de matéria prima de cobre. A recuperação tanto de cobre e quanto de ouro acontece em um meio (ambiente) de cloreto. Em concordância com a presente invenção, o referido método está caracterizado pelo fato de que o ouro contido no resíduo ou produto intermediário é lixiviado utilizando cobre bivalente e oxigênio em uma solução de cloreto de cobre (II) - cloreto de sódio nas condições, onde o potencial de oxidação - redução é um máximo de 650 mV e o pH é de pelo menos 1. O ferro e o enxofre contidos no resíduo permanecem em sua maior parte não dissolvidos; o ouro dissolvido é recuperado por algum método conhecido e o resíduo não dissolvido é dispensado para ser descartado.
