Abstract

"SISTEMA COMPREENDENDO DIVERSOS DISPOSITIVOS INTERCONECTADOS". Um sistema (100) compreendendo diversos dispositivos interconectados (101-105) e sendo arranjados para prover aos dispositivos (101-105) acesso condicional a itens de conteúdo protegidos, caracterizado pelo fato de que o sistema (100) é arranjado para restringir o número de sessões simultâneas envolvendo os citados itens de conteúdo protegido, até um limite total predeterminado. Preferivelmente, o sistema (100) restringe o número de itens de conteúdo que podem ser acessados simultaneamente até o limite predeterminado. Módulos de segurança (300) tais como cartões inteligentes podem ser usados para esta finalidade. Cada módulo de segurança (300) pode ser arranjado para restringir o número de itens de conteúdo aos quais provê acesso simultaneamente, até um limite individual, que pode mudar ao longo do tempo. O sistema restringe a soma dos limites individuais até o limite total predeterminado. Se o limite é alcançado, sessões adicionais podem ser recusadas ou permitidas a um nível de qualidade reduzido.
