Abstract

"PROCESSOS DE MOLDAGEM POR SOPRO SOB EXTRUSãO E ARTIGOS PRODUZIDOS POR MEIO DELES". Processo para moldagem por sopro sob extrusão de um artigo, e um artigo moldado por sopro sob extrusão, em que um flange sólido se estendendo radialmente para fora é soprado na parede lateral tubular do artigo. Uma ranhura se estendendo circunferencialmente é feita na superfície interna do molde, que dá forma a parede lateral tubular do artigo. Um parison de material termoplástico fundido é extrudado, e o parison é inflado por sopro contra as paredes de um molde. Durante o sopro, a ranhura é preenchida pelo material termoplástico fundido. O material que encheu a ranhura forma um flange sólido se estendendo radialmente para fora, moldado na parede lateral tubular do artigo. Uma parte do artigo se estendendo acima do flange é separada em uma única etapa de corte, para formar um artigo acabado tendo um flange externo na sua extremidade de topo.
