"DERIVADOS DE BENZOTIOFENO E COMPOSIçõES HERBICIDAS CONTENDO OS MESMOS". O derivado de benzotiofeno da presente invenção é representado pela fórmula geral (I): em que R^ 1^ a R^ 7^, Y, Q, n e p são como definidos no relatório descritivo. Uma composição herbicida contendo os derivados de benzotiofeno como o componente efetivo é menos danosa às colheitas cultivadas, tais como o arroz do arrozal, e tem um amplo espectro de controlar o crescimento de ervas daninhas em uma baixa taxa de aplicação.
