Abstract
"PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE COMPOSTOS DE BIS-BENZAZOLILA". A presente invenção refere-se a um processo para a preparação de um composto da fórmula em que Y representa -O-, -S- ou -N(R~ 2~)-, R~ 2~ sendo hidrogênio, C~ 1-~C~ 10~ alquila ou aralquila; Z representa um resíduo de 2,5-furanila, 2,5-tiofenila; 4,4'estilbenila ou 1,2-etilenila e R~ 1~ representa hidrogênio, halogênio, C~ 1~-C~ 10~ alquila, C~ 1~-C~ 10~ alcóxi, ciano, COOM OU SO~ 3~M, M sendo alcalino ou hidrogênio, ou um metal alcalino-terroso, caracterizado por reagir com um composto da fórmula com um ácido dicarboxílico da fórmula HOOC-Z-COOH (3) ou um éster deste, Y, Z, e R~ 1~ sendo como previamente definido, em N-metilpirrolidona ou N,N-dimetilacetamida, na presença de um catalisador acídico e, opcionalmente, na presença de um solvente secundário capaz de remover a água da mistura de reação, que são úteis como agentes de branqueamento ópticos para materiais sintéticos e naturais.
