Abstract
"MéTODO PARA A PRODUçãO DE BISFENOL A". é descrito um método para produzir bisfenol A, no qual bisfenol A é produzido por condensação de fenol e acetona com o uso de uma resina de permuta de cátion como um catalisador e uma mercaptana livre como um promotor, compreendendo alimentar fenol e acetona por um reator de multiestágio no qual pelo menos dois reatores adiabáticos tipo leito fixado embalados com uma resina de permuta de cátion são dispostos em séries e um permutador de calor é fornecido em uma entrada de cada dos reatores, e controlando a temperatura em cada dos reatores a fim de que não exceda a 90<198>C. Com este método, a eliminação de grupos sulfónicos da resina de permuta de cátion como um catalisador pode ser suprimida, a fim de que bisfenol A de qualidade elevada possa ser obtido, e a quantidade do catalisador empregado possa ser reduzida.
