Abstract
"SISTEMA PARA TRANSFERIR FLUIDOS CRIOGêNICOS ENTRE UM PRIMEIRO PONTO E UM SEGUNDO PONTO, E, MéTODO PARA RESFRIAR UM SISTEMA DE TRANSFERêNCIA". Um sistema e um método para transferir fluidos criogênicos (por exemplo, LNG) entre um primeiro tanque de armazenagem de LNG (41) e um segundo tanque de armazenagem de LNG (42). O sistema tem duas linhas de transferência (43 e 44), que se estendem entre os tanques e que são fluidicamente conectadas entre si para formar um circuito fechado quando o sistema não está em uso. O sistema de transferência inclui um meio para resfriar as linhas de transferência (43 e 44), quando o sistema não está em uso. O LNG é circulado em alta pressão através do circuito fechado durante intervalos ociosos, para manter as linhas em uma temperatura em que o LNG permaneça em uma única fase, isto é, líquida.
