"PROCESSO PARA A REPRODUçãO DE BITS DE IDENTIFICAçãO DE FORMATO SOBRE UM QUADRO A SER ENVIADO NO MODO COMPACTADO". No modo compactado ("Compressed Mode"), estão disponíveis mais locais TFCI do que bits TFCI. Para que os locais TFCI excedentes também sejam ocupados com bits e se obtenha a maior capacidade possível de potência, propõe-se para o Uplink e/ou para o Downlink o envio de bits TFCI originalmente pontuados, respectivamente de um código de identificação de formato não-pontuado.
