Abstract

Isolement du zinc et des métaux apparentés, à savoir le cadmium et le plomb, à partir de la poussière de four, suivant lequel on assure la présence, dans la poussière, d'un composé du zinc qui n'est pas du ferrite, on traite la poussière au moyen d'un halogène et d'un oxydant supplémentaire à une température élevée et on recueille le zinc sous la forme de l'halogénure de zinc volatilisé, cette température élevée étant d'au moins 624 degrés C si l'halogène est l'iode, 650 degres C si l'halogène est le brome et 732 degrés C si l'halogène est le chlore.
