Abstract

The stove is for use with wood or coal and has vertical hollow aluminium tubes, welded together in groups. Air is blown across these from bottom to top. The combustion chamber is formed between the groups of tubes. On the sides and base of the chamber, different items can be fitted to improve thermal performance ie.e. refractory bricks. Heat released by combustion heats the tubes and gives rise to pulsed reheating. The heated air is then used.

The System consists of propelling ambient air by means of a turbine through hollow pipes, previously heated as described above, which results in very high energy savings.
