Abstract

The unit heater consists of an enclosure with an oil or gas burner in the base and surmounted by a sealed combustion chamber. The products of combustion are evacuated to a flue leading to atmosphere. The combustion chamber contains the tube heat through which ambient air is blown by a fan mounted on the back of the enclosure. The enclosure is insulated and the heater incorporates a thermostat and thermocouple.
