Protection system for building construction

The present invention relates to a protection system for workers working on a site during the construction of a wall or the placement of slabs at a level higher than the ground floor. The object of the invention is to prevent or avoid accidents, such as for example the fall of one or more workers operating on building sites when a wall is raised, and / or the falling of objects to floor.

The system must be simple to assemble and disassemble relative to the wall to be assembled.

The object of the system of the invention is an easy-to-use protection system which allows protection when laying slabs for a floor of a building with an external wall made at least partially of bricks connected together by a mortar. and / or during the construction of a wall above the level of a floor of said building with an external wall made at least partially of bricks connected together by mortar.

Said protection system according to the invention comprises railing posts and stringers intended to extend between two railing posts, and fastening means for attaching the railing posts removably to a part of a partially brick and mortar wall.

In the system according to the invention, said attachment means each comprise at least:

Figure 1 shows a protection system (1) according to the invention. The system is intended to provide protection when laying slabs for a floor of a building with an external wall (2) made at least partially of bricks (2A) connected together by a mortar (2B) and / or during the construction of a wall above the level of a floor of said building with an external wall (2) made at least partially of bricks (2A) connected together by mortar (2B). Such a protection system makes it possible to avoid the fall of workers and / or the fall of objects, these falls often leading to the stoppage of the site for days, even weeks.

Said protection system (1) comprises railing posts (3) with U-shaped support loops (3A) and rails (4) intended to extend between two railing posts (3) (one part beams being engaged in two loops of two adjacent posts), and attachment means (5) for attaching the railing posts (3) removably to part of a wall (2) partially made of bricks (2A) and mortar (2B). The placement and removal of the protection system is easy.

Said attachment means (5) each comprise at least:

• A first assembly (6) intended to remain integral with a wall (1) partially made of bricks (2A) and mortar (2B) with an outer face and an inner face, this first assembly comprising (a) a plastic sleeve ( 7) having a substantially cylindrical recess (8) open at a first end (7A) so as to define a substantially cylindrical housing having a thread (9), this sleeve (7) being associated on its external face with protuberances (10 ) for attachment to mortar (these protrusions also provide resistance to rotation of the sleeve during screwing or unscrewing operations of the rod 15A), said sleeve (7) being intended to be placed in a layer of mortar (2B) between bricks (2A), said sleeve (7) being associated with its end (7B) opposite to said first end of a flat element (11) forming a head intended to

The hook (12) is formed by folding a metal strand having a substantially circular section of at least 2mm ² , advantageously at least 3mm ² , preferably from 3 to 10mm ² .

The plate (11) of the sleeve (7) is substantially circular and forms a foot all around the sleeve (7), so as to form a groove between the plate (11) and the internal face (FI) of the wall or wall. Such clipping is facilitated when the extensions (12B, 12C) extending the loop part (12A) can be moved apart or moved towards one another in an elastic manner.

Each post (3) is fixed to a wall (1) by means of two fastening means (6,15) distant from each other by a vertical distance of at least 20cm, advantageously at least 30cm, for example from 30 to 60cm. The tubes 15B advantageously have an inside diameter greater than the outside diameter of the post, this then making it possible to have a certain clearance for placing a post on two fasteners not having their tubes exactly co-axial.

The metal hooks (12) are made of stainless steel or spring steel or steel provided with at least one protective or anti-corrosion layer.

The sockets (7) are cylindrical with one end (7B) closed by the plate (11), the cylindrical outer face of the socket being provided with first and second longitudinal protrusions (10) adapted to contact at least partially on one face of two adjacent bricks located on the same level, and advantageously of a third longitudinal protuberance (10) adapted to extend between two adjacent bricks (2A) placed on the same level.

Advantageously, at least part of an extension (12B, 12C) is deformable by folding on site with a tool, to form the tab (12D) at the required distance from the first part or loop (12A), said tool being in

Preferably, the tab (12D) of the hook (12) forms, with the part of the extension (12B or 12C) adjacent to the tab (12D), an angle a of less than 92 °, advantageously less than 90 °, of preferably between 75 ° and 89 °. This further improves the hooking of the hook and therefore also of the socket

During the construction of a wall, a series of sockets (7) are placed so that they extend in mortar (2B) between bricks (2A) and so that the plate (11) of each socket (7) extends along the interior face (FI) of the wall or

B E2017 / 0058 wall. Along the front face of the wall, at least the joint between adjacent bricks is not visible, this to facilitate access to the hollow of the socket.

Each socket (7) is associated with a hook (12) so that a first part (12A) extends into the groove (G) and to insert the tab or tabs (12D) of the extensions (12B, 12C) of the hook (12) in mortar (2B) still fresh or not yet fully cured. To associate a hook with a socket, first place the first part 12A above the groove G. Then clip this first part on the socket. The position of the extensions (12B, 12C) is adapted so that the tab (s) (12D) can be inserted into the mortar joint between two adjacent brick levels, the joint not yet fully cured.

After minimal hardening, a series of fasteners (15) is fixed to sockets (7) before associating them with posts (3) and placing between posts posts (4), advantageously associated with a net or mesh of protection (16).

As soon as the wall reaches a sufficient height compared to the level of floor slabs of a floor (for example, minimum height of 80cm to 1 m), the beams and posts are removed. Using a ladder, we unscrew the clips 15.

In the system according to the invention, special hooks are advantageously used. As seen in Figures 8 and 9A, the brick 2A placed above a socket 7 is notched along its rear face, so that the socket 7 is well incorporated into a mass of mortar. To easily find the positioning of the sockets 7 from the outside, a removable piece in the form of a rod can extend into the hollow of the socket. This removable part is then removed during the screwing of the rod 15 A. After the removal of the protection system, the outer joints between bricks can be made. The sockets are no longer visible from the outside.
