DESCRIPTION
Palette
<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

DESCRIPTION
Palette
The invention relates to a pallet for transporting goods.
Transport pallets have proven their worth as they allow goods to be moved quickly. They can be received and moved with a forklift. Each pallet is usually used to transport identical goods, arranged on the pallet.
To transport goods of different types and quality, as is the case for example for the removal of special waste in the form of fluorescent tubes, polystyrene, dye and solvent residues, batteries, etc. usually rolling containers, vats, IBC containers, cartons and other containers that must be stowed at the loading level of the transport vehicle. The containers are locked using clamping bars, loading bars, blocking bars and mooring rails, the loading plan being gradually filled until the opening in the rear area of the container. vehicle. It is then only possible to access the goods placed in the area before after unloading. Transshipment of these goods therefore takes a long time.
The objective of the invention is therefore to develop a device by which it is possible to tranship, that is to say, to load and unload in a collection area, goods of different types, as quickly as possible, all avoiding the sliding of frequently dangerous substances on the loading surface.
This objective is achieved in accordance with the invention with a pallet for transporting goods whose width essentially corresponds to the width of the loading space of a transport vehicle and on which a structure is provided which has a corridor in the direction longitudinal to which are attached storage spaces distributed on each side. All the storage spaces are therefore accessible via the corridor, even when the entire loading space is filled with pallets of this kind, so that a multitude of different goods can be placed on each pallet where they are securely stowed for transport while remaining accessible at all times.
It is possible with the pallet according to the invention to receive a large number of substances
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
different in the different storage spaces, so that the substances are already sorted on the pallet (s). The loading is preferably carried out during the collection process, using a lifting platform placed on the vehicle, then with a hand pallet truck, a trolley or similar device across the corridor, a sorting takes place directly in the respective storage spaces.
During unloading, the complete pallet or pallets are removed from the vehicle either laterally or at the rear of the vehicle, for example by means of a forklift, and the goods are already sorted. In a very short time, whole pallets can be replaced in a modular way by empty pallets, so that the vehicle is operational without significant interruptions.
Another improvement of the invention lies in the fact that the storage spaces can be divided into several sectors. This allows the reception of a large number of different goods. The variable configuration of the storage spaces makes it possible to quickly adapt the pallets to different transport requirements.
It is advantageous that the pallets are stackable. In this way, the pallets, in particular the empty pallets, but also the filled ones, can be arranged one on the other with a minimal footprint.
An improvement of the invention lies in the fact that the pallet has a folding access ramp in the area of the corridor. It is thus possible to roll in the corridor with a vehicle, for example to roll a trolley with goods through the corridor to distribute them in the various storage spaces. Thanks to the access ramp, the threshold at the rear pallet is easily passable for such a vehicle.
It is also useful that the goods in the corridor can be blocked by means of removable sliding elements. This embodiment allows the corridor to be further filled with goods at the end of a loading process, while safely preventing the goods from sliding from one pallet to another thanks to the sliding elements. This also makes it possible to receive different goods in the corridor of each pallet without these being pushed from pallet to pallet.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
In addition, it is in accordance with the invention to integrate in one of the storage spaces, preferably in the last module, a console having, if possible, a view on the balance for the recording of goods.
This desk allows the registration of goods during loading without the person carrying out the registration blocking the loading through the corridor.
Finally, it is advantageous that the storage spaces can be loaded by their external face.
By using such a pallet on a vehicle whose loading space is accessible by a lateral opening, for example by hydraulic side flaps or even only laterally folding tarpaulins, the process of loading in the storage spaces can be done not only from the back but also from the sides. Once the loading process is complete, the side openings of the loading space are closed again and the goods are already stowed. In addition, unloading can be done both from the rear and laterally.
The advantages of the invention lie essentially in the fact that a multitude of different goods can be loaded and unloaded quickly and in the fact that the cargo can be simply and easily stowed.
An exemplary embodiment of the invention is described below with the aid of FIG. 1 which shows a perspective view of a pallet according to the invention.
The pallet according to the invention consists of a traditional pallet bottom (1) with sockets (2) for the forks of a forklift truck. The width of the bottom of the pallet (1) corresponds substantially to the width of the transport vehicle considered. A structure (3) is arranged on this pallet bottom (1). It can consist of metal supports connected to each other to form a frame.
The structure (3) has in the longitudinal direction (direction of the longitudinal axis of the vehicle) a corridor (4) on which one can walk and roll. Storage spaces (5) are arranged on the side of the corridor (4). Depending on the type of goods to be transported (goods in bags, tanks, bulk, etc.), they are fitted with lateral delimitation elements
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
(6). These storage spaces (5) can be loaded both through the corridor (4) and from the side of the vehicle.
These storage spaces (5) preferably have a modular structure, so that they can be quickly adapted to the goods transported. Each of the lateral storage spaces (5) can therefore be subdivided as desired into several sectors. It can also be provided that the goods arranged in the corridor (4) can be blocked using removable sliding elements, arranged, when the corridor is open, in the wall of one of the storage spaces (5).
The pallets can be stacked using support elements (7) located in the upper part.
In the corridor sector (4), the pallets are preferably provided with an access ramp which can be folded down (not shown) allowing the entry of a vehicle into the corridor (4) by the threshold formed by the height from the bottom of the pallet.
A desk (or computerized workstation) is preferably integrated in one of the storage spaces (5), to facilitate the registration of the goods received without the person carrying out the registration interfering with the loading process through the corridor (4).
