Abstract
1. A continuous-flow centrifuge, preferably for the industrial production of proteins from human blood plasma, comprising a cylindrical centrifuging drum which is provided with a plurality of concentrically disposed chambers which are connected together in the bottom region, the blood plasma or the like being supplied to the inner region of the centrifuging drum and a liquid phase being continuously removed from the outer region thereof, characterised in that disposed in the centrifuging drum (1) are plastics containers (13, 14) which are arranged concentrically relative to each other and which are connected together in the bottom region by at least one passage (15) and which form chambers of a ring form or a ring segment form, the plastics container or containers (13) which is disposed towards the axis of rotation (8) of the centrifuging drum (1) having a feed connection (18) and the plastics container or containers disposed in the outer region of the centrifuging drum having a drain passage (19) disposed at the top, and that the outside surfaces of the plastics containers, the communicating passage or passages, the drain passage or passages and the feed connection or connections are supported against inside surfaces of the centrifuging drum (1) and shaped portions (24, 26, 27, 28) which are fitted into the centrifuging drum and which can be disassembled.
