Abstract

The connector, usable particular in the automotive industry, comprises a base (10) and a plug (12) each having an insulating body (16, 40) carrying plugable contacts (28, 42), one having a screw- threaded ring (18) and the other a tapping-threaded collar (48) co-operating to secure the plug of the base in a position where their contacts are coupled. Two axial slots (52) are made in the collar (48), downstream of the tapping-thread in order to receive lugs (22) made behind the screw-thread. The screw-threaded ring (18) is one piece with the corresponding insulating body. <IMAGE>
