Abstract

It is usual to close the opening between the side reflectors (11, 12) of an elongated hollow reflector (1) over the lamp (2) by an upper reflector (13) which has a cross sectionally V-shaped reflector section (130) pointing towards the lamp above the lamp. The invention is based on the object of developing such an upper reflector for an elongated hollow reflector of very low constructional height in such a manner that it can be used unmodified in connection with an elongated hollow reflector with batwing, BAP or dark characteristic.
