Abstract

The arrangement consists of a cylindrical housing (4) in which the springloaded bolt (1) is guided and of locking pawls (8) which retain it in the housing. The housing has at least one opening through which a pawl (8) can move radially inward. The pawl can be pushed clear of the bore of the housing when a sleeve (15) is pushed in against the force of a spring (14). It is held in the pushed-in position by the lock plate (3) while the door is closed This position of the pawl allows the bolt to be pushed through a hole (2) in the lock-plate. When the bolt is retracted and the housing is moved clear from the lock plate, by opening the door, the sleeve (15) is pushed up by the spring so that a section with reduced diameter pushes the pawl inwards in the locking position.
