Abstract

The electric socket board (bank) has several electric sockets (14) arranged in a row. The sockets (14) are arranged on at least one upper housing element (11). The latter (11) has plug openings for plugs to be connected with the sockets (14). The bank also has a lower housing element (10) which combines with the upper housing element (11) to form a housing for the sockets (14). The lower housing element (10) is formed of an expandable fibre material. A number of upper housing elements (11,12) can be mounted on the lower element (10) according to the selected length of the latter.
