Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Maske für Atmungsgeräte, die mit einem mit elastischer Füllmasse gefüllten Abdichtungswulst versehen ist, und besteht darin, dass der die Füllmasse aufnehmende Wulst oder Schlauch aus nachgiebigem Tnkotgewebe gefertigt und mit einem gasdichten Überzug aus Gummiersatzmasse versehen ist. Die Verwendung von Trikotgewebe gewährt den Vorteil, dass es sich beim Umhüllen von Formstücken oder elastischen Füllungen ähnlich nachgiebig verhält wie Gummi ; Gummi soll aber gerade in vorliegendem Falle ersetzt werden. Zum Gasdichtmachen des zweckmässig mit einer Zellstofflösung o. dgl. getränkten Trikotgewebes dient ein Überzug aus einer in flüssiger Form auf- getragenen Lösung eines Gummiersatzes (z. B.
Zellstofflösung o. dgl. ) Als elastische Füllmasse des Trikotgewebeschlauches eignet sich besonders Faktis o. dgl.
In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des neuen Modells im Langschnitt veranschaulicht.
Der manschettenartige Teil a ist an dem Gesichtsende mit einem Schlauchteil b versehen, die beide vorzugsweise in einem Stück aus Trikotgewebe hergestellt sind, das zweckmässig z. B. mit einer Zellstofflösung getränkt ist. Der Schlauchteil b ist mit einer elastischen Masse c (Faktis o. dgl.) zu einem Wulst aufgefüllt oder ausgestopft. Auf der Innenseite des Teiles a befindet sich eine feste, aber biegsame Hinterlegung der Einlage d. Das Ganze ist mit einem Überzug g aus Gummiersatzmasse versehen, wie dies aus der Zeichnung ohne weiteres verständlich ist.
