   Die Erfindung betrifft einen   Rauchgasvorwärmer,   bestehend aus einer oder mehreren hintereinander geschalteten Reihen stehender Röhren, die oben und unten durch einen Querkanal in Verbindung stehen. Hiebei dient der eine Querkanal als Eintrittskanal, durch den das Wasser in die stehenden Röhren gelangt und der andere als Austrittskanal, durch den das Wasser abfliesst. Gewöhnlich dient der untere Querkanal als Eintrittskanal und der obere als Austrittskanal. Bei dieser Art der Wasserführung werden sich die Luftblasen im oberen Querkanal ansammeln und daselbst luftsack bilden, die zur Rostbildung Veranlassung geben und störend auf die Wasserführung einwirken.

   Dieser Nachteil ist der Erfindung gemäss durch eine Verbesserung der Wasserführung vermieden, die dadurch erreicht ist, dass das letzte Rohr oder die letzten Röhren einer jeden Reihe des Vorwärmer von der Verbindung mit dem unteren Querkanal ausgeschlossen sind. 



  Das mit einer gewissen Geschwindigkeit bis in den oberen Querkanal aufsteigende Wasser wird dann von hier durch die nicht an den unteren Querkanal angeschlossenen Röhren mit vergrösserter Geschwindigkeit wieder hinunter geleitet, so dass die etwa abgeschiedenen Luftblasen aus dem oberen Querkanal mitgerissen werden. In jeder Rohrreihe und gleicher Rauchgaszone wird das Wasser zunächst bei geringerer Geschwindigkeit, also auch geringerer   Wärmeübergangszahl   und darauf, wenn die Temperatur gestiegen ist, bei grösserer Geschwindigkeit und damit grösserer Wärmeübergangs7ahl erwärmt. 



   In der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel eines der Erfindung gemäss eingerichteten Rauchgasvorwärmers veranschaulicht, und zwar zeigen Fig. 1 in Ansicht dio senkrechte Anordnung von vier Rohrreihen hintereinander, Fig. 2 einen senkrechten Längs schnitt durch eine Rohrreihe, Fig. 3 einen wagerechten Schnitt durch den Vorwärmer. 



      Der. Vorwärmer   ist in der    Rauchkammer   eines    Lokomobilkessels zweckmässig hinin   dem   Überhitzer 1l   angeordnet, so dass er mit dem Überhitzer durch eine gemeinsame Ausblasevorrichtung gereinigt worden kann.

   The invention relates to a flue gas preheater, consisting of one or more rows of standing tubes connected one behind the other, which are connected at the top and at the bottom by a transverse channel. One of the transverse channels serves as an inlet channel through which the water enters the standing pipes and the other as an outlet channel through which the water flows off. Usually the lower transverse channel serves as an inlet channel and the upper one as an outlet channel. With this type of water flow, the air bubbles will collect in the upper transverse channel and form air pockets there, which give rise to rust formation and have a disruptive effect on the water flow.

   According to the invention, this disadvantage is avoided by improving the water flow, which is achieved by excluding the last pipe or pipes of each row of the preheater from being connected to the lower transverse channel.



  The water ascending at a certain speed into the upper transverse channel is then directed down again from here through the pipes not connected to the lower transverse channel with increased speed, so that any separated air bubbles are carried away from the upper transverse channel. In every row of pipes and the same flue gas zone, the water is initially heated at a lower speed, i.e. also with a lower heat transfer coefficient, and then, when the temperature has risen, at a higher speed and thus a higher heat transfer coefficient.
