Der Erfindung gemäss ist zwischen denWasserrohrbündeln eines Wasserrohrkessels, die den Ober- kessel mit den unteren Wasserkammern verbinden, ein Heizrohrkessel eingebaut, dessen Wasserraum durch Stutzen sowohl mit dem Oberkessel als auch mit den unteren Sammlern des Wasserrohrkessels verbunden ist.
Die Zeichnung zeigt einen solchen Kessel im Querschnitt und teilweise in Vorderansicht.
Der als Dampfsammler dienende Oberkessel 1 ist mit dem Heizrohrkessel 3 durch Stützen verbunden.
Die Rohrsysteme 5 gehen vom unteren Teile des Oberkessels 1 aus und endigen in je einer Speise- wasserkammer 6, von welcher ein weiteres Rohrsystem 7 ausgeht und mit dem unteren Teile des Heizrohrkessels 3 verbunden ist.
Das Wasserrohrsystem 5 besteht aus nahe aneinanderliegenden Rohren von kleinem Durchmesser.
Die Rohre des Systems 7 haben eine kleinere Neigung und einen grösseren Durchmesser als die
Rohre 5 ; sie sind in grösseren Abständen voneinander angeordnet, um den Durchgang der Feuergase in das Rohrsystem 5 zu gestatten.
Oberhalb des Rohrsystems 5 sind ein Speisewasservorwärmer 8 und ein Dampfüberhitzer 9 eingebaut.
Die Wasserzirkulation bei diesem Kesselsystem ist eine ausserordentlich lebhafte und seine Heiz- fläche eine sehr grosse.
