Bei der beschriebenen Vorrichtung wird der Ring b fest an die Schwellensehraube gepresst und verteilt die durch die letztere ausgeübte Zugbeanspruchung auf die ganze Fläche C2 (Fig. 12) der Schwelle.
Eine solche Mutter bildet also ein hinreichendes Mittel zur Befestigung von Schwellenschrauben, selbst in weichem Holz und setzt dem Herausziehen der Schrauben einen grossen Widerstand entgegen. Die vorliegende Mutter hat noch den Vorteil, einer sehr billigen Herstellungsweise, denn alle ihre Einzelteile können durch Formen oder Stanzen hergestellt werden.
In Fig. 14 ist ein anderes Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung dargestellt, indem die Schalen a nicht mehr durch eine Klemmwirkung von dem Ring h festgehalten werden, sondern durch einen Rand as der sich unten an dem Ring befindet.
Die Form und die Abmessungen der Mutter können ebenso, wie die Anzahl der Schalen, beliebig verändert werden.
