 EMI1.1

 EMI1.1

According to the master patents, a pipe is sunk into the well shaft or well pipe, which reaches close to the deepest part, carries a hollow body made of fine-pored artificial stone at the bottom and is connected to a compressed air source at the top.

According to the present invention, this device is modified to surround the mentioned hollow body or one with finely perforated walls and the mouth of the suction pipe of the well pump with a common bell which has a vent pipe reaching above the water level. As a result, the action of the air pressed out through the wall openings of the hollow body in numerous very thin jets is limited to a certain volume of water and thus made much more effective.

The drawing below illustrates this facility in a vertical section.
 EMI1.2
Walls and attached to the suction pipe 9 of the well pump a bell p, which is provided with a vent pipe c q reaching above the water level. The air emerging from the hollow body b in the form of numerous very fine jets, which rise freely in the device built according to the parent patent, are forced to bounce off the walls of the bell p. to rise within it and to use up its oxygen to precipitate the iron dissolved in the bell contents.

This is how the bell contents. which the suction pipe y of the pump removed, freed from iron up to the achievable limit.

Claims (1)

EMI1.4 **WARNUNG** Ende CLMS Feld Kannt Anfang DESC uberlappen**. PATENT CLAIM: The modification of the device specified by the 1st patent claim of the Stamm patent for deicing the water in wells in such a way that a hollow body from EMI1.3 pipe enclosing bell with vent pipe is attached, for the purpose of limiting the amount of water with which the blown air comes into contact to a certain extent.
