Alsdann wird der die Walzen 4 und 24 enthaltende Raum geschlossen- und Dampf durch Rohr 39 in ihn eingelassen. Während nun hier der Strähn in dem von Dampf erfüllten Raum sich bewegt, kann von den beiden anderen Walzen 3, 23 der fertig bearbeitete Strähn abgenommen und ein weiterer auf sie aufgelegt werden.
Infolge der den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildenden Verstellbarkeit der einen der beiden verschiebbaren Walzen kann die Maschine zum Lüstrieren von Garnstrabnen ver- schiedener Länge benutzt werden.
Selbstverständlich könnten auch bei dieser Maschine immer mehrere Walzenpaare übereinander angeordnet sein.
