Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Anfeuchten von Kopierblättern. 



  Dieselbe besteht aus einem mit schiefem Boden und Ablasshahn versehenen-Kasten und einem dazu gehörigen Deckel, dessen Unterfläche parallel zum Kastenboden und dessen Oberfläche horizontal ist. 



   Die Zeichnung zeigt in Fig. 1 im Schnitt und in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht eine derartige Anfeuchtungsvorrichtung. Dieselbe wird von einem Kasten c gebildet, welcher einen schiefen Boden d und einen Wasserablasshahn f besitzt. Der dazu gehörige Deckel e ist an seiner Unterfläche parallel zum Boden d und an seiner Oberfläche horizontal gestaltet. 



   Zum Anfeuchten der Kopierblätter werden dieselben in. dem Kasten übereinander gelegt und dann Wasser in den Kasten gegossen. Die Blätter saugen sich hiebei mit Wasser voll, worauf das überflüssige Wasser mittels des Hahnes f abgelassen wird. Sodann wird der Deckel aufgelegt und der Apparat unter eine gewöhnliche Kopierpresse gebracht, um aus den Blättern das überschüssige Wasser auszupressen. Unter den Hahn wird dabei zum Auffangen des Wassers ein Gefäss gestellt. 



   Die Vorrichtung bietet den Vorteil, dass ein Nasswerden der Kopierpresse verhindert wird und infolge des schiefen Bodens das gesamte Wasser leicht ablaufen kann, so dass alle Blätter vollkommen gleichmässig befeuchtet werden. 



   Die Vorrichtung ermöglicht ein derart rasches Zurichten der Blätter zur liopierarbeit, wie es bisher nicht erzielbar war.

The present invention relates to a device for moistening copy sheets.



  The same consists of a box provided with a sloping bottom and drain cock and a corresponding lid, the lower surface of which is parallel to the box bottom and the surface of which is horizontal.



   The drawing shows such a moistening device in section in FIG. 1 and in plan view in FIG. The same is formed by a box c, which has a sloping bottom d and a water drainage tap f. The associated cover e is designed parallel to the bottom d on its lower surface and horizontal on its surface.



   In order to moisten the copy sheets, they are placed one on top of the other in the box and then water is poured into the box. The leaves soak themselves full of water, whereupon the excess water is drained off by means of the tap f. The lid is then put on and the apparatus is placed under an ordinary copier press to squeeze out the excess water from the leaves. A vessel is placed under the tap to catch the water.



   The device offers the advantage that the copying press is prevented from getting wet and, as a result of the sloping floor, all the water can easily run off, so that all the sheets are completely evenly moistened.



   The device enables the sheets to be trimmed for piping work as quickly as was previously not possible.
