   Stühle, deren durch Stützplatten gebildete Sitzauflagen innerhalb des Sitzrahmens mittels elastischer Organe aufgehängt sind, sind bekannt ; dieselben vermissen jedoch den Vorteil einer federnden Sitzkante, welche dem Sitz erst die erforderliche Geschmeidigkeit bzw. Behaglichkeit verleiht. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft nun einen Stuhl mit einer Stützplatte als Sitzauflage, bei welchem sich die Stützplatte über die ganze Sitztiefe erstreckt und welche nur seitlich mittels elastischer Organe derart an den Sitzrahmen angehängt ist, dass sowohl das vordere Ende (die Sitzkante) als auch das hintere Ende der Platte über den tiefer verlegten Grundleisten frei   durchschwingt.   



   In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes   schau-   bildlich zur Darstellung gebracht, u. zw. bezeichnet : a den Sitzrahmen, b die Stützplatte, c ihr vorderes Ende (die Sitzkante), d das hintere Ende der Stützplatte, e die elastischen Organe (Federn, Gummizüge od.   dgl.) 1 die   vordere und g die hintere Grundleiste.
