   Die Erfindung besteht darin, dass in den Längsschienen eines auf den Kinderwagen aufgesetzten Rahmens ein mit den in horizontaler Richtung auseinanderziehbaren Gittern verbundener Quergriff beweglich geführt ist. durch dessen Verschiebung die beiden Gitter mitgenommen und dabei in die Gebrauchslage zusammengeschoben werden. 



   In der Zeichnung ist ein der Erfindung gemäss ausgebildetes Schutzgitter im Schaubild beispielsweise dargestellt. 



   Der Träger des Schutzgitters besteht aus einem Rahmen, der einfach auf das Wagengestell aufgesetzt und mit ihm lösbar verbunden wird. Die Gitter 1 sind zum seitlichen Verschieben eingerichtet und ihre oberen Randleisten durch rohrförmige Teile 7 gebildet, in welchen je eine Zugfeder 9 untergebracht ist. Die beiden Gitter sind durch einen in Schlitzen der Rohre 7 geführten Griff 8 zu gemeinsamer Betätigung verbunden. Die Gitter werden durch den Griff 8 gegen die Wirkung der Federn 9 in die Gebrauchsstellung gezogen und in dieser durch geeignete Mittel festgehalten. Nach Auslösung des die Gitter in der Gebrauchsstellung haltenden Verschlusses schnellen die Gitter unter Federwirkung in die unwirksame Lage.
