  Tip for ski poles.

The tips for ski poles that have been customary up to now generally have a smaller diameter than the pole and are straight so that they offer resistance and break easily when pulled out of snow or ice. The tip according to the present invention has a beak-shaped contour in side view and a spear-shaped contour in elevation. At the upper end it has a diameter that is equal to or greater than the diameter of the stick, so that it can be pushed onto the stick. Its cross-section gradually decreases in the direction towards the apex. As a result
 EMI1.1
Very little resistance when pulling the stick out of the snow, so that the risk of breaking off is eliminated.

Some exemplary embodiments of the tip according to the invention are illustrated in the drawing.

1, 2 and 4 each show a side view, FIGS. 3 and 5 each an elevation, FIG. 6 an axial longitudinal section.

The beak-like shape of the tip is common to all of these exemplary embodiments. According to FIGS. 1 and 2, the apex lies within the axial projection of the largest cross-section of the tip. The stick should preferably be held in such a way that the concave side of the tip faces forward in the direction of travel. According to FIG. 4, the apex lies outside the axial projection of the upper end of the tip. In this case, the stick should preferably be held in such a way that the convex side of the tip is forward in the direction of travel. As Fig. 6 shows, the connection of the tip.
