  Kolben mit Kühlwirkung. 



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Kolben mit Kühlwirkung, insbesondere für Brennkraftmaschinen, dessen dicht verschlossener Hohlraum ganz oder teilweise mit einer beständigen, leicht beweglichen
Substanz gefüllt ist. Das wesentliche Merkmal der Erfindung besteht darin, dass als Füllsubstanz Salze   verwendet werden, die bei den in Betracht kommenden Temperaturen schmelzen, insbesondere Kaliumund Natriumsalze, deren Siedepunkt vorteilhaft über der auftretenden Höchsttemperatur liegt. Die  
Füllsubstanz kommt durch ihre Bewegung infolge des Kolbenspieles abwechselnd mit den heisseren und kühleren Kolbenstellen in Berührung und überträgt dadurch die Wärme von ersteren auf letztere. 



   Auf der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in einem Ausführungsbeispiel in den Fig. 1-3   in drei Hauptschnitten dargestellt. 



  Im Kolbenkörper 1 sitzt der Einsatz 2 derart, dass er mit der Kolbenwandung einen allseitig dicht   verschlossenen Hohlraum 3 bildet, der so gestaltet ist, dass er den Raum 5 für das Spiel der Schubstange freilässt. Der nicht dargestellte Schwingzapfen für die Schubstange muss natürlich dichtend durch die
Wände des Einsatzes 2 geführt sein. Der Hohlraum 3 ist zum kleineren Teil mit dem bei den in Betracht kommenden Temperaturen schmelzenden Salz 4 gefüllt, das infolge des Kolbenspieles in allen Teilen des Hohlraumes heftig herumgeschleudert wird, sich an den heissen   Kolbenstellen   erwärmt und die   Wärme an die kälteren Stellen Überträgt. 



  Wenn erforderlich, können zur Vergrösserung der wärmeabgebenden bzw. -aufnehmenden Flächen   im Innern des   Hohlraumes Kühlrippen   oder andere die Oberfläche vergrössernde Gebilde vorgesehen sein.
