   Entlasteter Schwimmer. 



   Den Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung bildet ein für Dampferzeuger u. dgl. bestimmter hohler metallischer Schwimmer, der zur Verminderung des Gewichtes und Erhöhung der Schwimmfähigkeit aus sehr dünnem Blech hergestellt ist. Um nun bei der geringen Wandstärke des Schwimmers Deformationen infolge des auf denselben ausgeübten Druckes zu vermeiden, ist in dem Hohlraume desselben eine empirisch festgestellte Menge Wassers oder anderer Flüssigkeit enthalten, dessen Verdampfung jener im Kessel oder dgl. möglichst genau folgt, so dass dem auf den Schwimmer einwirkenden   Aussendruck   der in seinem Inneren durch den Dampf erzeugte Innendruck das Gleichgewicht hält. 



   Untenstehende Zeichnung zeigt eine Ausführungsform eines solchen Schwimmers im Schnitt. Der Schwimmerkörper besteht aus dünnem Blech und zwar zweckmässig aus zwei Hälften 1 und 2, in die vor dem Umbörteln und Verlöten eine der Grösse des Schwimmers genau entsprechende Wassermenge 3 eingeführt ist.
