Die bekannten, mit Spiegeln oder Linsen versehenen Handlampen, insbesondere Grubenlampen, haben den Nachteil, dass diese Teile leicht verschmutzen und Zerstörungen ausgesetzt sind.
Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Prismenanordnung, durch deren Totalreflexion ein das Vorfeld entsprechend beleuchtendes Lichtbündel ausgestrahlt wird.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise veranschaulicht.
Eine Lichtquelle 1 ist innerhalb eines Prismas 2 derart angeordnet, dass die Lichtstrahlen an der Fläche 3 des Prismas total reflektiert und an der vorderen Fläche des Prismas ausgestrahlt werden.
Ein besonderer Vorteil dieser Konstruktion ist, dass die Lampe samt dem Prisma vollständig eingekapselt werden kann, so dass nur die vordere und daher leicht zu reinigende Fläche freiliegt.
