Abstract

La presente proporciona un proceso de polimerización de alta presión, de radical libre, para polimerizar un polímero basado en etileno, dicho proceso que comprende la polimerización de etileno en una configuración de reactor que contiene un reactor con, por lo menos, dos zonas de reacción, una primera zona de reacción y una zona de reacción ubicada corriente abajo de la primera zona de reacción; y donde el CO (monóxido de carbono) se agrega al reactor en, por lo menos, una zona de reacción ubicada corriente abajo de la primer zona de reacción, y donde, menos que, o igual al 95 por ciento por peso de la cantidad total de CO se alimenta a la primer zona de reacción.
