Abstract
polímero à base de etileno é preparado por um processo que compreende polimerizar uma mistura de reação compreendendo etileno e pelo menos um sistema de agente de transferência de cadeia; em que a polimerização ocorre na presença de pelo menos um iniciador de radicais livres; e em que a polimerização ocorre numa configuração de reator compreendendo pelo menos um reator tubular com pelo menos três zonas de reação; e em que pelo menos duas zonas de reação recebem uma alimentação de etileno; e em que o grau de polimerização na primeira zona de reação é menor ou igual a (5/lcbf)*3150; e em que o polímero à base de etileno formado pelo processo compreende as seguintes propriedades: (a) lcbf (4,7 + 0,5*log(i2)); e (b) i2 de 0,2 a 25 dg/min.
