Abstract

Método para el procesamiento de pulpa, utilizado en relación con un proceso prehidrólisis-Kraft (PHKP) que incluye la adición de astillas de madera o similares en un recipiente de reacción, realizar la prehidrólisis y neutralizar la mezcla con una primera cantidad de licor blanco, seguido de una solución diferente tal como un filtrado alcalino de extracción cáustica en frío, opcionalmente enriquecido con licor blanco. Los fluidos de neutralización se reemplazan con un fluido de cocción que comprende un licor negro caliente y un filtrado alcalino, opcionalmente enriquecido con licor blanco. El fluido de cocción puede tener una concentración de álcali efectivo relativamente alta. La pulpa cocida puede presentar hemicelulosa residual y número kappa muy bajos dentro de un rango óptimo.
